Waiver and Release/Acceptance of Policies
I acknowledge and accept that I or my child(ren) will be participating in hands‐on cooking activities where there is an inherent risk of injury, e.g.,
from kitchen appliances, equipment, knives, allergic reactions or other participants. I, for myself and/or my child(ren), hereby release, waive,
discharge and agree not to sue Ballard Schools Inc., Cucina Bambini or any of its officers, representatives or instructors, whether paid or volunteer,
for any injury or damages in connection with the participation in programs at Cucina Bambini. Furthermore, I have read, understand and accept
the company policies regarding cancellation, allergies, and photo permission.
*Each guest needs to bring a signed waiver to the party (waiver is included with our invitations, otherwise forms can
be downloaded from our website)
Cancellation and refunds
In order to receive a refund, you must contact us at least 7 days in advance for camps or
48 hours in advance for classes. No credit will be given for “no shows” and party deposits
are non‐refundable. Cucina Bambini also reserves the right to cancel any class not
meeting enrollment standards (in which case a full refund will be given), to change recipes,
or to substitute instructors.
Allergies
When registering, participants must accept responsibility for notifying the staff of Cucina
Bambini of any food allergies or special needs. NOTE: We cannot guarantee that all food
products used at Cucina Bambini are free of nuts or nut oil.
Acknowledgment of risk
Participation in cooking activities involves an inherent risk of injury from kitchen
appliances, equipment, utensils, allergic reactions and other students in the class. Each
student (or parent/guardian) must acknowledge and accept these risks and sign a waiver
and release of liability as part of the registration process.
Photo permission
Unless otherwise notified in writing to Cucina Bambini, participants who appear in group
or individual photos give permission to Cucina Bambini to use them for advertising
purposes.
Our three -b’s policy
1) Be Safe. Students must:
‐ be given permission to use, and be supervised while using, all appliances
and equipment;
‐ walk and be aware of those around them;
‐ keep hands and feet to themselves;
‐ listen to teachers and follow directions
2) Be Clean:
‐ Upon arrival, wash hands thoroughly with warm water.
‐ Wash hands after handling raw meats and eggs.
‐ Clean up work stations before leaving.
3) Be Happy:
HAVE FUN – THAT’S WHAT WE’RE HERE FOR!
